AS ERCİYES UNIVERSITY, OUR ACTIVITIES IN ORGAN TRANSPLANTATION AND DONATION
1-We periodically provide training seminars on organ transplantation and donation to healthcare personnel in and out of the hospital.
2- In coordination with the National Education Directorate, we give training seminars about organ transplantation and donation in high schools every week.
3-We are giving a seminar on organ transplantation and donation to the personnel, primarily 112 doctors, within the Health Directorate. We are planning to continue this activity by visiting the health centers one by one.
4- In cooperation with our provincial mufti's office, we occasionally bring up organ transplantation and donation in our Friday sermons. We remind our people with verses and hadiths that our religion also looks favorably upon this issue.
5- We cover the subject of organ transplantation and donation on our local channels, especially on our university's television channel, Campus TV, both as billboard advertisements and occasionally as live guests.
6- We distribute the brochures prepared by our Organ Transplantation Coordination Center to the relatives of the patients during the visiting hours in our hospital and to the public at the information desks at the doors. We also hang our illustrated posters on the city and hospital billboards and present them to the public's attention.
7- We inform our people and personnel with organ transplantation events and seminars in our province and neighboring provinces on November 3-9, which is organ transplantation week.
8- We visit the state hospitals and medical faculties in the provinces within our region and want to motivate and coordinate them.
